Analytics

Knowing how your magazines perform on Flipboard can help you improve as a magazine maker. This new view gives you a sense of what types of articles resonate the most with your readers.

You can visit your new “My Analytics” stats dashboard from the Flipboard Editor. Look for this icon in the top right corner.Screen Shot 2014-10-28 at 11.04.11 PM

Once you sign into your account, you’ll see your profile stats and the list of magazines you’ve made to the left. To dive deeper into a single magazine, click on its title.

The center column shows your most viewed items, giving you a sense of what does well with your readers. On the right are three graphs:

Articles – Number of items flipped into this magazine.

Viewers – Number of people who have seen items you have flipped into this magazine.

Page Flips – Number of views of items you have flipped into this magazine.

Updating your description and continuing to flip into a well-performing magazine can keep its momentum going. If a magazine is not getting as many views or interactions as the others, try switching up your sources or reevaluate its focus. In any case, it will be exciting to watch your magazines fuel Flipboard’s topics and get more visibility than ever before.
